Dr. Willette believes one of the most important aspects of her work is to practice with the intention to preserve natural tooth structure whenever possible. There is no material that can be created that is better than a healthy natural tooth. When a tooth needs treatment because of decay, a fracture, or an appearance concern, she recommends the most conservative restoration that will address the problem while preserving as much of your natural tooth as possible.

When Dr. Willette discusses treatment plans with you, she is happy to review your options in detail. If time doesn’t permit to review a treatment plan at the initial appointment, we schedule a return for a consult appointment as part of the new patient exam. It is very important to Dr. Willette that you know and understand your options prior to treatment. Dr. Willette stays current on dental materials and she offers the best material to fit each patient’s needs and desires.

When appropriate, composite restorations can be a more conservative option than a crown. Dr. Willette uses careful technique and layered shading so the result looks natural.
